Pink Sapphire Wafer

This little pink was custom cut by the late Glenn Lehrer. I fell in love with these stones unfortunately after he passed, however the passion and dedication to his crafted pulled me strongly to his work. He too was inspired by nature and while he was world renowned for his introduction of new stone cutting techniques (like this piece here) he was also self taught.

The cut of this stone is actually a patented design call the TorusRing. He collaborated with many designers over his life and these stones have been made into many creations, but it was important to me to weave my work with his in a new and unique way.
