CAM Studio was founded by Los Angeles based goldsmith Christen DeLaney with the intention of creating wearable sculpture in the form of fine jewelry. With a background in sculptural installation, Christen has extensive experience in hand-making jewelry to create a unique piece at the bench, from her signature ceramic castings to setting every stone.

The tactile nature of Christen’s process is visible in every piece of CAM Studio’s jewelry and all are made to gain more beauty with wear. Christen creates her jewelry in dialogue with nature and works to develop a reciprocity for the materials she uses, including the stones she sources on hikes with her daughters.

CAM Studio uses recycled gold, fair-mined diamonds and transparently sourced gemstones from small-scale mines, all chosen with intention and total traceability. Sustainability is a top priority for the brand and all packaging is compostable. CAM Studio's pieces are created to be treasured objects with a positive impact that are sure to become heirlooms.

Since 2019, CAM Studio has participated in 1% for the Planet, which creates a structure for donating 1% of annual sales or salary to environmental causes. Christen chose a local organization, ALMA Backyard Farms, to support with resources and service. ALMA Backyard Farms works with formerly incarcerated people to reform their connection to both nature and the community while providing training and hands-on technical education. Supporting the efforts of ALMA is an extension of CAM's ethos of sustainability and reciprocity with the earth.
