Found Pieces I

Whenever I think of how these pieces came into the world I can only think of Bob Ross saying ‘Happy little accident’. When I was playing with these pieces I was actually working to sand cast a single thin band. Sand casting is full of chance and when I opened the mold of these pieces the gold hadn’t poured all the way around. Instead of removing the Sapphires that were set, I cut out the sections that had stones and added the post. I loved how these two sections were so different and yet so similar being the part of the whole.
