There are clear environmental benefits to air drying your laundry. Very simply you’re using less energy both saving money and decreasing your impact. Also by not allowing clothing to tumble around in a dryer they last longer. There is actually a lot of wear and tear on a garment when you dry it. There are many ways to air dry. If you can get your whites to air dry in the sun as well it acts as a natural bleach. Most importantly have you ever smelled clothing that has been dried outside. It smells like sunshine. No joke.
